Chatham-Kent (CK) police have arrested a man wanted for over a year for allegedly threatening multiple women.
The man was first arrested back in May 2024 after complaints were made to police about him making death threats to a 72-year-old woman and a 69-year-old woman.
He was charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death.
After being granted bail, the man failed to appear in court multiple times, resulting in police issuing an arrest warrant.
Fast forward to January 1, officers in Tilbury conducted a person stop on a man on Prospect Street. They later realized this was the wanted man for the alleged death threats.
The man was arrested and brought back to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters. He's since been re-released with a future court date.
