Chatham-Kent police managed to cross another name off of their wanted list on Tuesday at the courthouse in Chatham.

Police say that's where they found a man who was wanted for breaching one of his release conditions that required him to reside at a specific address in Windsor.

The man was arrested at the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday and charged with failing to comply with a release order.

He was taken to police headquarters where he was set to be held pending a bail hearing.

Man refuses to release woman, even after police arrive

A 42-year-old Chatham man is facing a pair of charges after police were called to a domestic dispute Tuesday night.

Police said when they arrived, they learned the man had allegedly attacked a woman without being provoked.

Investigators said the man also refused to let the woman go -- even after police arrived.

Officers said they "gained control of the man" and charged him with assault and resisting arrest.

He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Police said the woman was taken to a safe place.
