Two more doctors have joined the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Dr. Shafia Beg will join the Internal Medicine and Hospitalist departments and Dr. Aimen Naeem will join the Hospitalist department.
"Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is thrilled to welcome Doctors Beg and Naeem to our medical team," said Dr. Pervez Faruqi, chief of staff at CKHA. "Their skill and expertise will be an excellent addition to our organization and the delivery of Patient and Family Centred Care."

Dr. Beg earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida in 2016 and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Central Michigan University in Saginaw, Michigan in 2019.
"I started my medical journey with the goal of coming back to Canada and making a meaningful contribution to the local community," said Dr. Beg.

Dr. Naeem got her Doctor of Medicine from Aureus University School of Medicine in Oranjestad, Aruba in 2015 and completed her Family Medicine Residency training at Southern Illinois University of Medicine in Decatur, Illinois.
"CKHA seemed like the perfect fit for me to begin my career with its community atmosphere and professional staff," said Dr. Naeem.
Fannie Vavoulis, lead physician recruiter at CKHA, said their knowledge, skill and compassion will be a great asset to the organization.
