Provincial police are asking the public for help identifying a pair of suspects after an e-bike was swiped from a park in Mitchell earlier this month.
According to Perth OPP, the blue and black 2002 Daymak EM2 was stolen from Keterson Park on August 2. Surveillance video obtained by police showed two men loading the bike into a red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck and then leaving the area.
Police released still images and descriptions of two suspects on Friday. The first suspect is described as having short dark hair, a mustache or beard, and tattoos on his right forearm and neck. He was wearing a dark short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and dark footwear. The second suspect had short light or grey hair and was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, beige shorts, and light coloured shoes. The Ram pickup truck involved had four-doors, a sunroof, and silver or chrome running boards.
Police are asking anyone with information about the theft or who recognizes either suspect to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
