The LaSalle Vipers hammered the Sarnia Legionnaires 6-2 in Game 1 on Thursday.
Spencer Paradis, Stephane Crevier, Aaron Shaw, Matt Carvalho, Kory Silverio and Evan Ferguson all scored once for LaSalle.
The Vipers and the Legionnaire are in LaSalle for Game 2 on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Leamington Flyers were shutout out 1-0 by the Strathroy Rockets in Game 1.
Leamington goaltender Zach Borgiel made 22 saves out of 23 shots on net.
