The Windsor Express fell 109-98 to the Niagara River Lions in St. Catharines on Thursday.
A close game between the two teams saw the Express trailing 24-21 at the end of the first quarter, and still narrowly behind 50-47 at halftime. Windsor was able to tie the game at 75 points a piece after three, but the River Lions fought back in the final frame to earn the win with an 11 point advantage.
Chris Commons led Windsor with 23 points, while Brandon Robinson 18 points and ten rebounds. Tony Bennett also had 18 points.
The Express are back on the court on Friday to take on the Island Storm at 7:30pm.
