Spitfires Edge Firebirds 3-2

The Windsor Spitfires scored a 3-2 victory over the Flint Firebirds Saturday night for their second win in a row.

Flint scored the first goal of the game, but Windsor scored one of their own to tie things up at the end of the first period.  The Spitfires took the lead in the second, scoring twice to make it 3-1. The Firebirds scored again in the third but couldn't tie the game to force overtime.

Aaron Luchuk, Bradley Latour and Brendan Lemieux each scored once for Windsor.

The Spitfires will face off against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds next on Sunday at 2pm.
