Windsor-Essex Winter-Ready Home Show returns to WFCU Centre

Is your home ready for winter?

If you're not sure, it may be a good time to head out to the Windsor-Essex Winter-Ready Home Show on Saturday at the WFCU Centre.

More than 50 local home improvement professionals will be on hand to help prepare your home for the winter months, with educational presentations, a Winter Home Expert Panel, and the opportunity to connect with trusted local businesses.

"Winter can be demanding on our homes, and this event is designed to connect homeowners with trusted local professionals who can help them prepare before the cold weather arrives," said Khalil Monther with WindsorEvents.ca. "Whether you're planning a major renovation or simply looking for ways to improve energy efficiency, the Winter-Ready Home Show offers practical solutions."

The event starts at 11 a.m. in the Banquet Hall at the WFCU Centre and finishes at 5 p.m.

Attendees can get expert advice on mould, energy efficiency, frozen pipe prevention, winter protection, and insurance considerations.

Families can also create their own personalized door sign to take home.

Visitors can participate in the Winter-Ready Passport Contest by visiting participating exhibitors. Completed passports submitted by 4 p.m. will be entered into a draw for a $100 gift card.

Brooke McKenna will provide live music between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
