Bomb threat investigated near Windsor high school

There has been an increased presence of police officers on Wednesday near a Windsor secondary school.

Windsor police have confirmed that officers were dispatched to Liberty Street, near Vincent Massey Secondary School, shortly before 10:30 a.m.

Police have not provided additional information.

The Greater Essex County District School Board says it's been business as usual at Massey.

"The school board and administration at the school have communicated with parents and families. School operations have not been impacted," said spokesperson Madeline McEachern in an email to WindsorNewsToday.ca.
