A teenage boy is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday morning.
Windsor police say emergency crews were called at around 10 a.m. to the intersection of Ford Boulevard and Ontario Street.
They learned that a driver was travelling southbound on Ford Boulevard when their vehicle struck an e-scooter operated by a 15-year-old travelling westbound on Ontario.
The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. The driver, who stayed at the scene, was not hurt.
Police closed the intersection for about five hours while they completed their investigation. It has since reopened.
There is no word on any potential charges.
