An accidental fire in Lakeshore caused an estimated $600,000 in damage.
Lakeshore firefighters were called to a fire on Old Tecumseh Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters from Stations 1 and 3 responded to the call and brought the fire under control by early Saturday morning.
The house was unoccupied, and there were no injuries.
"As always, I want to commend our firefighters for their swift and professional response to the structure fire over the weekend. Their teamwork, training, and commitment to protecting Lakeshore's communities helped bring this incident under control safely and effectively,” said Lakeshore Fire Chief Jason Suchiu.
