Windsor fire officials spent much of Wednesday on the scene of a fire near the downtown core.
Windsor Fire and Rescue reported that the fire broke out at a house on Janette Avenue near Riverside Drive East during the early morning hours.
The fire was soon put out, with no reports of injuries.
Four people living in the multi-unit building have been displaced.
Damage from fire, smoke, and water has been estimated at $400,000.
Investigators from Windsor Fire and Windsor police have continued to look for the cause.
