If you're going to the LaSalle Strawberry Festival, why not park the car and take the bus?
Bus service in LaSalle has been extended to match the festival's hours, and it's free.
The enhanced service runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Final pickups at the Vollmer Complex each evening will be around the time the festival shuts down at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex.
LaSalle's Transit 25 route does not run on Sundays.
The town is warning residents that parking may be difficult during the festival.
Mike Raymond Drive is closed until June 15.
All vehicular traffic headed to the Vollmer Complex must do so from Laurier Parkway, and parking is first-come, first-served.
There's a free bike valet service, hosted by Bike Windsor Essex, close to gate 1.
The LaSalle Strawberry Festival starts on Thursday and wraps up on Sunday.
