Humane Society launches 50/50 raffle

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is offering residents a chance to win big and support the shelter.

It has launched the second annual Kitty Kash 50/50 Lottery.

“The Kitty Kash 50/50 Lottery is a fun and impactful way for our community to come together and support animals when they need us most,” said Lynnette Bain, Executive Director of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.

Spring is the Humane Society's busiest season, with lots of kittens born throughout the community.

“Kitten season places an incredible strain on our resources, and every ticket purchased helps ensure we can provide lifesaving care to the hundreds of animals who rely on us each year, including those in foster homes who need extra support to grow and thrive,” said Bain.

Tickets are available now on the Humane Society's website.

Three early bird prizes will be awarded in addition to the final draw happening on June 1.
