Downtown Windsor Farmer's Market expanding in 2026

The Downtown Windsor Farmer's Market is expanding its footprint this year, making room for more vendors and gathering spaces.

For the 2026 season, the market will be set up on the ground floor of the Pelissier Street parking garage.

"Visitors should expect an area to enjoy and stop for a bit and really increase their dwell time at the market because in this parking garage we're doing shaded seating areas and a kind of food hall," said Shane Peters, market manager.

He said the additional space in the parking garage will increase their vendor space by 25 per cent, allowing for 3,000 vendor spaces throughout the season.

"There were times where we had a wait list of a few dozen vendors waiting to get in, so that vendor demand is definitely there for these opportunities to be in our core and be connected with residents from across the county," said Peters

The first market of the season is Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. It will operate every Saturday until October 31, 2026.
