Police arrest two for sexual assault, find drugs and loaded handgun

Windsor Police say they seized a loaded gun and cocaine while investigating a sexual assault.

Just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, police got a call from a woman who said she had been sexually assaulted by two men in her apartment on Pillette Road, between Plymouth Drive and Grand Marais Road East.

The men were still in her apartment when officers arrived.

One suspect reached toward his waistband during the arrest. Officers intervened and found a loaded 9mm handgun.

The second suspect was arrested without incident.

Police also found what they believe is cocaine and digital scales.

A 29-year-old man faces 12 charges, including sexual assault, possession of a loaded firearm, and two counts of breach of probation.

A 28-year-old man is also charged with sexual assault and possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking.
