OPP charge driver after Leamington crash

A crash early Sunday morning in Leamington has resulted in charges against the driver.

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash at 4:39 a.m. on Erie Street South at Seacliff Drive.

Police didn't say if anyone was hurt, but a 58-year-old Leamington woman now faces charges of failure or refusal to comply with a demand, failure to surrender license, failure to have an insurance card, and failure to yield to traffic on a through highway.

Officers also suspended the woman's license for 90 days and impounded her vehicle for a week.

She'll appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on March 11.
