A firefighter was injured, and two dogs were found dead in a house fire in Windsor.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said in a social media post that they were called to the scene near Wyandotte Street East and Victor Drive at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
They included that the two dogs were found deceased by fire crews.
The firefighter who was injured was treated at the scene by EMS, and has been taken to the hospital for further observation.
Fire and Rescue Services say the fire began in the kitchen, and three possible ignition sources are being investigated.
According to the fire service, the damage is estimated at approximately $600,000, and the cause is considered accidental.
