Fifth suspect arrested in disappearance of Windsor man

Windsor police have arrested the fifth suspect in the murder investigation of 37-year-old David Pavao.

Members of Windsor Police Emergency Services Unit, along with the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad, collaborated to locate and arrest the suspect.

At around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jason Vincent Smith was found at a home on Drouillard Road.

He was arrested and has since been charged with accessory after the fact to murder, indecent interference with a dead body, mischief under $5,000. and failure to comply with a release order.

Police have also arrested 27-year-old Colin Lusk, 54-year-old Shane Ladouceur, 49-year-old Marie Christine Hannah, and 61-year-old Ronald Holman in relation to the murder investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing
