You can run, but you can't hide from Windsor Police

On four occasions between October 15 and last Wednesday, Windsor Police spotted the same silver 2005 Mercedes-Benz being driven recklessly.

Each time officers attempted to pull it over, the driver sped off.

Officers finally caught up with the driver around 8 p.m. on Wednesday at a business on Tecumseh Road West just west of California Avenue.

This time, when officers approached, the man tried to get into his car to leave, but instead, he was arrested.

During the arrest, officers found an airsoft handgun in the suspect's pant leg, and suspected he was impaired. They also found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

A 22-year-old man faces dangerous driving, impaired driving, failure to submit to a drug test, and disobeying a lawful court order charges.
