Windsor fire crews were kept busy on Monday.
Firefighters responded to a pair of fires that broke out at around the same time, one of which left someone with burns to their hand.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., a fire was reported on Parent Avenue near Erie Street East.
The fire was declared out about 20 minutes later. No injuries were reported. The fire was confined to a chimney and caused about $2,000 in damage.

"Wood fireplace chimneys require professional inspections, cleaning to prevent creosote buildup, and safe burning practices. Never leaving a fire unattended," read a social media post from Windsor Fire and Rescue.
The other broke out on the exterior of a house on Timber Trail near Country Club Drive. Fire officials said a man suffered first and second-degree burns to his hand and was treated at the scene.

The cause was determined as "improperly discarded smoking materials". The damage is estimated at $75,000, and affected a garage, fence, shed, natural gas meter, and electrical meter.
