The City of Windsor is now accepting applications for volunteers to serve on the board of the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation.
City Council approved the restructuring of the board effective January 1, 2026.
"Our goal is to build a board that is not only diverse, but also highly professional and skilled," said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens. "As sole shareholder of WECHC, the City of Windsor is committed to ensuring that we have a strong board governance structure with clear mandates and objectives."
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, October 24, 2025. Interested applicants can apply online or get a printed copy of the application from the City Clerk's Office at 350 City Hall Square West.
