The former executive director of the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society has opened up a new community veterinary clinic.

Melanie Coulter has partnered with the former Humane Society Director of Shelter Medicine Dr. Kayla Beetham to offer affordable spaying and neutering, microchipping, nail trimming, and end-of-life care.

The Community Veterinary Clinic is located on Holden Avenue in South Windsor.

Coulter said the mission of the clinic is to advance animal welfare in the community by offering accessible veterinary care.
