Two suspects face charges after Windsor Police investigated three commercial break-and-enters during the early morning hours of August 13.
Each time, a woman drove up to the business, while a man used a hammer to smash windows and doors to gain access.
The businesses were all along Wyandotte Street East between Arthur Road and Isack Drive.
Around 11 a.m. the next day, officers spotted the same vehicle used in the break-ins travelling westbound on Tecumseh Road East. A 48-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop on Windsor Avenue. She faces three counts of break-and-enter.
The second suspect was arrested a week later in the Greater Toronto Area by the Ontario Provincial Police-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Unit. A 29-year-old man is charged with three counts of break-and-enter, three counts of possession of break-in tools, three counts of wearing a disguise to commit an offence, and breach of probation.
