Around 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, officers responded to a home on Northway Avenue, just off Totten Street. When they arrived, they learned two people had entered the residence and confronted the sleeping occupants.

One suspect threatened the residents with a knife and demanded their cell phones and other electronics. The suspects fled the house with six cell phones. The residents were not hurt.

Early Tuesday morning, police found one suspect in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Parent Avenue. The second suspect was found on Wednesday afternoon in the area of Glengarry and University Avenue East.

A 46-year-old man and a 45-year-old man are both charged with break-and-enter and robbery with an offensive weapon. The latter suspect is also charged with failure to comply with a release order.
