Two teens are facing charges after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle.
Windsor police report they were called to a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Lauzon Road and Edgar Street around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Officers determined that the car was stolen from Niagara Street and then crashed into a utility pole.
Police said the suspects took off on foot before police arrived. A black pellet rifle was found in the back seat of the stolen vehicle.
Officers arrested a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old on Fairview Boulevard a short time later.
The suspects were both charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, and failure to comply with a release order.
