LaSalle RIDE program results in two road tests

As the summer heats up, police are working to ensure that people party responsibly and drive sober.

LaSalle police officers participated in a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checkpoint on Front Road Monday night.

Officers spoke with the drivers of over 200 vehicles. Out of those, roadside tests were administered to two drivers. The results of both were negative.

Police issued no roadside suspensions for impaired driving or made any arrests.
