G2 licence holder cited for stunt driving

Windsor police say a driver under a learning classification has learned the hard way that excessive speed brings consequences.

Officers with the Traffic Enforcement Unit were on patrol on Tuesday when they spotted a vehicle being driven at an excessive speed in the area of Ouellette Avenue and Eugenie Street.

The driver was clocked going 130 kilometres per hour in a 60-kilometre-per-hour zone.

The G2 driver was cited for stunt driving, which carries a licence suspension of 30 days. The vehicle was also impounded for 14 days.
