Teen arrested after stabbing

A 16-year-old is facing charges after a stabbing on Monday night.

Windsor police were called to a home on Tecumseh Road near Jefferson Boulevard around 10 p.m. Officers found a woman with multiple stab wounds.

Officers say the suspect went to the home to confront a 15-year-old girl over a previous issue. The argument turned into a physical altercation, and the suspect stabbed the girl's mom several times. The 15-year-old was also stabbed in the shoulder.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested the next day and charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon, and failure to comply with a Youth Criminal Justice Act sentence.

The charges have not been proven in court.
