Just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, emergency services were called to Wyandotte and Louis Avenue.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services extinguished the blaze.
The fire caused around $75,000 in damages. There were no physical injuries reported.
Officers identified a suspect after reviewing surveillance footage of the area.
The person was located and charged with arson causing property damage.
The Emergency Department at the Wingham and District Hospital will close temporarily on Thursday night.
