Suspect arrested in series of thefts

Ontario Provincial Police in Essex County recovered over $20,000 of stolen property during a recent investigation in Kingsville.

The investigation began when officers were called to a business on Dimar Drive Monday morning for the report of a theft.

A suspect was identified and officers determined they were linked to several theft complaints in Lakeshore.

On Wednesday, officers found the 36-year-old suspect who was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and theft under $5,000.

Approximately $20,000 in stolen property was recovered, including a pickup truck that had previously been reported as stolen from the City of Windsor.
