Man arrested after brandishing firearm at Windsor bar

Windsor police have charged a 28-year-old man after he allegedly pulled out a gun at a bar on St. Patrick's Day.

Officers were called to the business on Tecumseh Road East after a patron was kicked out over an argument they had regarding their bill. After getting outside, the man reportedly brandished a firearm before fleeing.

After investigating, police identified the man and arrested him around noon on Tuesday.

He's since been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a restricted firearm without a licence, five counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited, and failing to comply with a release order.

The firearm allegedly shown by the man has still not been found.
