Evening fire in Harrow considered suspicious

Authorities are taking a closer look at a fire that broke out at a home in Essex on Monday night.

Essex Fire Chief Jason Pillon said the fire is suspicious, and the fire department has notified the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal.

Essex Fire and Rescue crews arrived at the house on County Road 13 off Dunn Road in Harrow around 10 p.m.

Pillon told WindsorNewsToday.ca that when firefighters arrived, the structure was fully engulfed.

Twenty-five firefighters from Stations 2 and 3 helped fight the flames.

No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported. A damage estimate hasn't been released.
