Councillor Kieran McKenzie made the request.
“Municipalities have the opportunity to use their procurement power to effectively address these unnecessary and harmful protectionist measures imposed by the United States,” he said.
An exact time and whether the public can attend the meeting was not specified, however, it will happen on Monday.
Students take part in a wide range of activities, including tree planting, watershed projects, and harvesting vegetables.
