Applications taken in Lakeshore for summer student jobs

If you are a student looking for a summer job, the Municipality of Lakeshore wants to help.

The Municipality is taking applications for its 2025 summer student job program.

"We are thrilled to offer our summer student job positions once again," said Mayor Tracey Bailey. "These roles provide not only hands-on learning but also the chance for students to develop essential skills, grow professional networks, and contribute to our communities. I encourage all eligible students to explore the different positions available and apply to have an exciting and rewarding summer in Lakeshore."

Most of the positions run from early May to Labour Day. High school, university, college, or trade school students 16 and older are eligible, as long as they are planning to return to school in September 2025.

Positions are available in engineering, parks and trails, public works, by-law, workforce development (HR), communications, IT, water treatment and distribution, planning, and GIS.

Jobs are also open for the Municipality's summer day camp program and at the marina.

The application deadline is January 31, 2025.

Complete information about the summer student job program can be found on the Municipality's official website.
