Windsor man arrested by OPP for alleged child luring

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a 45-year-old man following an investigation into child luring.

Members of the Essex County Crime Unit were first alerted on December 11 about someone allegedly using electronics to lure a minor.

On Monday, the OPP announced that Shaun Ouellette was charged with luring a person under 16 via telecommunication.

The charge has not been proven in court. The suspect was released with a court date in Windsor on January 16, 2025.

Due to a publication ban, no additional information will be released.

Police believe there may be more victims, and have asked anyone with information to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
