Windsor police say a suspect in the murder of Dalton Bartnik has turned herself in.
Samantha Lynn Sweetman, 30, was wanted for first-degree murder. Police say she surrendered at Windsor police headquarters on Wednesday.
An investigation by the Major Crimes Unit concluded Bartnik was murdered on or around April 1 but his remains have not been recovered.
In July 2024, police arrested and charged six people in connection to the murder.
They say new evidence has recently been uncovered pointing to a new alleged co-conspirator.
