Two suspects sought in Highland Avenue murder (VIDEO)

Windsor police have released video footage of two suspects sought in connection to a homicide.

Officers were called around 7:30 a.m. Friday to a home on Highland Avenue off Lens Avenue for a "trouble unknown" complaint. When they arrived, they found a 69-year-old man deceased inside the house.

The victim has been identified by police as Reginald John Frickey. A postmortem examination revealed that Frickey died from a head injury.

The Major Crimes Unit has obtained surveillance footage of two people seen in the neighbourhood around the time of the incident. The suspects were seen on Highland Avenue, Mercer Street near Logan Avenue, and Lens Avenue near Forest Avenue.

Police have released the footage and are asking residents to take a look.

The first suspect is described as a White male with a stocky build. He wore a maroon hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and darker shoes.

The second suspect is a White male. He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, a black backpack, and black running shoes with white soles.
