Stellantis' North American operations will have its second leader this year.
The automaker announced a shakeup of a few of its top brass on Thursday, including Antonio Filosa, who takes over as the Chief Operating Officer for North America.
Filosa will add these duties to his current role as the CEO for the Jeep brand.
"Having successfully led the excellent performance of Stellantis’ South America Region, driving increased revenue, quality and market share, Antonio brings a wealth of business and leadership experience to this new role," read a release from Stellantis.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Filosa succeeds Carlos Zarlenga, who will be named to another position within the company.
Also announced on Thursday were the naming of Jean-Philippe Imparato as the Chief Operating Officer for Europe. Doug Ostermann is the new Chief Financial Officer.
The changes came as the automaker showed a recent decline in sales. In Canada, for example, a 24 per cent overall drop in sales was reported for the third quarter of 2024.
