UPDATE: Stolen hockey jersey recovered by Windsor police

Windsor police say a hockey jersey stolen from a south-end business has been recovered.

Investigators said in a social media post on Tuesday morning that they were looking for a suspect in a February retail theft.

A man had entered the business on Walker Road south of Division Road, took an Edmonton Oilers jersey signed by Connor McDavid, and left without paying for it.

The value of the item was $2,000.

Police reported on Tuesday afternoon that the jersey was found and returned.

Anyone with information on this incident should call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
