Attempted murder suspect arrested again for bail violations

A 37-year-old man, out on bail after he was charged with attempted murder, robbery using a firearm, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle, faces new charges.

Windsor Police said Swayze Coore was released on bail on September 16.

A judge ordered him to remain under house arrest and submit to GPS monitoring.

Just four days later, bail compliance officers learned he was breaching the conditions of his release order and started an investigation.

On Monday, those officers, along with the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad, located Coore on Marion Avenue near Niagara Street and arrested him.

He faces two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Anyone wishing to report a suspect not complying with their release conditions can call Windsor Police at 519-255-6700, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.
