OPP investigating infant drowning in Harrow

Authorities are investigating an infant drowning in Essex.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the incident happened on Saturday at a home on Huffman Road in Harrow.

Few details are available, but police say they responded to the location after an infant was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.

The child was rushed to hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch has continued with the investigation, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
