Windsor police seek suspect in Labour Day hit-and-run (VIDEO)

Windsor police are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run collision. 

Security camera footage at a fast-food restaurant on Huron Church Road near College Avenue caught the vehicle being backed into a parked pickup truck at around 8 p.m. on Monday, then being driven off. 

The suspect was seen on camera entering the restaurant before the crash took place.

The vehicle is described as a newer-model black Toyota Corolla, with an Ontario licence plate beginning with the letter "D".

The suspect is described as an East Indian male with medium-length black hair. At the time of the incident, he wore black pants and a black, grey, and white long-sleeved shirt.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or recognizes the suspect, should call Windsor police's Traffic Enforcement Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4000. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
