K9 officer helps nab duo following break-in

Windsor police have arrested two suspects after interrupting a break-in at a commercial property.

Police were called to a business on Walker Road just before 11 a.m. Sunday for a reported break-in.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the exterior door had been damaged and set up a perimeter around the area, police said.

K9 Officer Ghost led a search of the building and found two suspects on the property. Police said the pair were arrested as they attempted to crawl through an opening in a fence.

A 44-year-old man has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.

A 35-year-old woman also faces charges of mischief under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order.
