UPDATE: Windsor intersection reopened after cyclist struck by vehicle

A busy intersection in Windsor is open again after police say a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle.

Few details are available, but police were called to the intersection of Howard Avenue and Tecumseh Road East shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, on a report of an injury crash.

A bicyclist was rushed to hospital, but there is no word on their condition.

A damaged City of Windsor vehicle was at the scene, but there has been no information given on how, or if, it was involved.

The intersection of Howard Avenue and Tecumseh East was closed for several hours while investigators completed their work.

It reopened around 3:30 p.m.
