Two males were arrested after being observed entering unlocked vehicles on Maple Avenue in LaSalle.
According to LaSalle Police Service, two adult males were seen stealing from residents vehicles just before 6:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Police said that thanks to a tip officers were able to arrest the suspects after a brief foot chase and they were later released with a future court date.
The two were in possession of a multitude of stolen items including credit cards from seven different people. Police are asking anyone in that area who had their vehicles broken into to call police at 519-969-5210.
