Game 7 downtown Windsor viewing party is a go

As excitement builds for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is hosting another block viewing party.

It held block viewing parties for Games 5 and 6 on Pitt Street East and University Avenue West. The party is at the Bull and Barrel Urban Saloon on Ouellette Avenue on Monday night.

"The community's response to our previous events has been phenomenal," said DWBIA Chair Chris MacLeod. "We are beyond excited to host another block party for Game 7, uniting fans to cheer on the Oilers, support our local businesses, and celebrate our shared passion for hockey."

After being down 3-games-to-none against the Panthers, the Edmonton Oilers have roared back with three straight wins.

Monday's party starts at 6 p.m., and fans can watch the action on a large outdoor screen when the game starts at 8 p.m.

While the event is free, those going should register in advance.
