DWBIA hosting watch party for Stanley Cup Finals

Hockey fans can watch Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals in downtown Windsor on Friday night.

The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association will host another block viewing party on University Avenue West from Pelissier Street to Ouellette Avenue.

The block party for Game 5 was on Pitt Street East.

"The community's response to our previous event was fantastic,” said Chris MacLeod, Chair of the DWBIA. “We are thrilled to host another block party for Game 6, bringing people together to cheer on the Oilers, support our local businesses and celebrate our shared love for hockey.”

Fans can watch the game on large outdoor screens, and local businesses will extend their patios to offer food and drinks to guests.

The event is free, but people should register in advance for the free Cup Block Viewing Party.
