The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is hosting a block viewing party for fans who might want to watch Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals in a festive atmosphere.
The event on Thursday night kicks off at 6 p.m. on Pitt Street East.
Local eateries will serve food and drink while fans watch the game on a giant LED screen.
Panache Restaurant and Lounge, La Guardia Restaurant, On a Roll Sushi and Sliders and a new addition, The Cherry, will feature their signature dishes in a casual fine dining experience.
The event is free, and those who go are encouraged to sit on the patio or bring their lawn chairs.
So far, the Panthers lead the series two games to none against the Edmonton Oilers. The game gets underway at 8 p.m.
"This event is a fantastic opportunity to support our local businesses and celebrate our city's love for hockey," said DWBIA Chair Chris MacLeod. "We invite everyone to join us in downtown Windsor for an evening of excitement, camaraderie, and great local flavour."
