Visitors to a popular Windsor park will start seeing some crews beginning Monday.
The City's parks department has announced that work has begun on improving the trails at Optimist Park in south Walkerville.
"Work gets underway shortly to pulverize and resurface approximately 1.2 kilometres of existing multi-use trails, including the widening of some sections," read a release from the City.
Access to the park will be maintained, but the trails will be closed for about six weeks. A mid-July reopening is projected.
The dog park, pavilion, basketball courts, and baseball diamond will also stay open.
